We are always looking for new works! Our FROM THE GROUND UP READING FESTIVAL hosts 4 readings of new plays and musicals each February, in hopes of finding the next smash hit. We are currently seeking scripts for our 2013 Series.
We've had great success with plays debuting in past festivals. Ground UP has had two new works published (by Samuel French and Dramatists Play Service) from our 2007 and 2008 Seasons, and in Fall 2011 we produced an Off-Broadway run of LETTER FROM ALGERIA, by Michael Ian Walker, discovered in the 2010 reading series. •Full-length plays preferred
•8 Characters or fewer
•Include a cover page with contact info
•Musicals encouraged!
•.MP3 files should accompany a musical submission
•.PDF format for scripts preferred
